Dr Jay Verma

Dr Jay Verma

CEO

Dr Jay Verma is a GP partner at Shakespeare Health Centre in Hayes; a practice he and his wife took over in 2015 and turned from a failing practice to a still-growing partnership at the heart of the community providing award-winning care and healthcare programmes. 

Dr Verma understands the pain points in primary care and consequently designs products with the users in mind, bringing the whole primary care family into the solutions he develops. 

Dr Verma is also the President-Elect of the General Practice division at the Royal Society of Medicine and considers the feedback and experience of all HCPs in primary care, and those who interact with the sector, as invaluable insights into creating the best products DCS can build. 

His passion is healthcare and delivering the best for patients and his team - which is reflected in the quality of his work and his unique ideas which can allow primary care within the NHS model to develop and thrive. 

Dr Sukin Natarajan

Dr Sukin Natarajan

CFO

Dr Natarajan has a PhD in mechanical engineering and was a lecturer in Biomedical science for the Masters programme at Brunel university. He is now the business manager at Heathrow Medical Centre in Hayes as well as chief product officer for DCS Group who manages the team of data scientists and machine learning experts to ensure the smooth development and roll out of our products and projects.

Dr Natarajan has been central to hugely successful projects such as the roll out the community paediatrics clinic which won a national award in 2017 and The Health Foundation Asthma project which won a British Computer Society award in 2022. 

Dr Natarajan's combination of skills and his work at the heart of community healthcare allows him to ensure DCS Group develops solutions for the most current, critical issues in primary care from both the clinical, business and patient's needs. 

Bhuvana Dhruva

Machine Learning Engineer

Bhuvana holds an MSc in Advanced Computer Science and is integral to the design and development of the cutting-edge products we develop at DCS Group. She is at the heart of the development of our SmartLife suite of products, using her highly sought-after skills to harness the power of data for the benefit of healthcare professionals and patients alike. 

She has worked on many natural language processing projects and has authored papers for leading academic journals in the field of computer science and healthcare. 

She was instrumental in building a machine learning model to improve the identification of potentially undiagnosed asthma patients in primary care which won the John Perry Prize in 2022 from the British Computer Society. 

Bhuvana is passionate about using her skills to improve patient care and fervently believes that machine learning can address multiple challenges currently within the NHS.  

Dylan Dhinsa

Data Analyst

After completing his degree in Chemical Engineering, Dylan has found his passion lies in data and the unique lessons and opportunities which good quality data can bring. 

At DCS Group Dylan provides in-depth analysis on how we can improve patient outcomes and is involved in several projects including our cutting edge SmartLife suite of products which could revolutionise the accessibility and delivery of primary care. 

He is at the core of developing our products and services, drawing out stories from the data to help practices reveal the information within their own organisation to improve their delivery of healthcare for the benefit of staff and patients.

Shankar Ganapathi

Data Platform Architect

Shankar holds an MSc in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science (CMU SCS) and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

He heads the design and build of our SmartLife products at DCS Group, developing market-leading solutions to help primary care providers offer the best services to their patients and using cutting-edge technology to improve capacity and access and putting patients at the heart of their own healthcare.

Shanker is responsible for designing and building the data platform and the patient electronic health record which is at the heart of our products, allowing practices to maximise their use of accurate, secure data to deliver efficient, compassionate healthcare services.

He is passionate about harnessing the potential of AI and data to support primary healthcare workers with a vision of improving patient care and expediting healthcare processes.

Annabelle Sanderson

Marketing & PR

Annabelle has worked in PR and communications for nearly 20 years and now brings her skills to DCS Group to spread the message to practitioners and patients about the huge benefits which technology and safe, secure data can bring to healthcare.

She has led award-winning campaigns for leading health and care organisations which centre around informing the service user on how they can be at the heart of their own health and treatment.

She believes knowledge is power and wants everyone involved in primary care, from GPs to patients, to be aware of the choice and opportunities which are available to them if they embrace technology - whilst making sure no one is left behind due to digital poverty or language barriers.

With experience in public affairs, she leads stakeholder engagement to help NHS bodies, campaign groups and charities exploit the potential which AI and technology can bring to improving healthcare for all.
